Medical System - Shady beginnings of in U.S.

When did you see your doctor last or watch one of those drug commercials on TV (along with the 30 seconds of quietly delineating the dangerous side effects)? More than likely if you had any symptoms you were then given a list of drugs to go get. This is medicine by prescription: Column A = Symptom; Column B = Drug, etc. or medicine by commercial.
